They always have good meats on sale, too!
Most of the time I have a good experience with Shaw's. Unfortunately every once in awhile I come across a salesperson that is less than helpful. But then again there's that one sales person that goes above and beyond to make up for it.
Shop there once a week. I always get fresh cut watermelon at a great price year round. I buy the sales and use coupons. The prices are better than some other markets. Variety of foods and beverages is good. I check the clearance racks for good deals on candy, household, bakery items, even pans and toys!
Only 2 registers open with very long lines. Not the cheapest place to buy food, you'd think that they would be better at customer service. They started with fresh bagels several months ago on Sundays. They used to be in closed baskets in the bakery section. Now they are in open bins by the front door for everyone to pick though as well as anything blown in from the front door. I asked about the change and they responded that Dunkin donuts has them out. Ugh, first of all, dd does not let customers behind the counters and second......I'm at Shaw's, not dd. I won't shop at DD anymore since I saw them spraying for bugs right next and under the donuts.
The store is clean with great employees, especially Tay Tay! She's a cashier and a Sweetheart!
I love their fresh fruit and veggies!
I like Shaw's it always has great prices and sales. Clean store and good produce.
