This is an awful place to have an inspection done. When I originally had my car inspected they failed me for faulty E-brake and bad tires. I got that fixed and went back and then they found that my ball joint was bad. They refused to give me a new sticker showing this new found issue and just told me to get it fix and come back. The man at the counter is EXTREMELY rude and doesn't care about the customers. I will NEVER go back to this shop and will spread the word of my bad experiences at this shop. DO NOT GO TO GET YOUR CAR INSPECTED HERE!
Rude. Lack basic customer service skills. I understand it's a garage, but the older gentleman(I don't know his name) there speaks to you as if you're inconveniencing him with your business. The younger mechanics seem to have a bit more personality and are friendly. Disappointed, especially after reading other reviews. I'm not looking for sickening politeness but a thank you and have a nice day is always welcomed. Last time I go to them for service.
Engine in my rav4 seized within 30 days of having a full 100k tuneup here due to over consumption of oil. I repeatedly asked them to look at the problem that caused it during the last few visits, kept telling me everything is fine. I have serious doubts they even drove it; considering they also replaced the rear strut, you think that would be important. All told, I paid $2k at my last visit only to have it break down immediately after.
I have purchased a car and truck from J&S. Excellent vehicles, excellent service.
